CVE Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures are publicly known information security vulnerabilities and exposures. Each CVE entry describes a specific security issue that can affect the integrity, confidentiality, or availability of a system. These "Tickets" are specialty cards that explain certain CVEs and some Zero Days. Zero-day vulnerabilities are security flaws in software, hardware, or firmware that are unknown to the vendor or developer. Because these vulnerabilities are not yet known to the responsible parties, no patches or fixes are available to mitigate the issue.
